If you think your cellulites are a hopeless case because you’ve already tried everything (from natural remedies to expensive creams), LipoLite might just be the answer to your prayers. No, it’s not just another liposuction because it’s specially made to target those nasty cellulites you see on your legs. A lot of women have been trying it out since cellulites are hard to eliminate no matter what exercise you do (studies show it’s something natural!). The process is quite different too. It includes 2 different kinds of liposuction: the first one sucks and drains out the unnecessary fats on your legs, and the second one serves as a follow-up by shaping it. Having those perfect legs you see on commercials is not anymore a far-fetched dream—you can achieve it with LipoLite.

Micro-liposuction: achieve that perfect body!

April 21st, 2008 by editor

Liposuction are only for over weights. Not anymore!

A different kind of liposuction is being practiced in today’s hospitals and cosmetic surgery clinics. It’s called the micro-liposuction. If you already have a curvaceous body, yet you think there are certain areas that need some trimming, then you can go for micro-liposuction. This brand-new technology allows women, and men as well, to achieve the body they always wanted—the fast way. It is also very different with the usual liposuction acquired by the over weights because with micro-liposuction, you’ll barely see signs that you’ve undergone such medical procedure. Have that perfect body, NOW!

UPDATE: Breast reconstruction after mastectomy is safe.

April 17th, 2008 by editor

Sadly, for breast cancer victims, having to undergo mastectomy entails a lot of anxiety for the patient. Some think that losing one breast will make them less of a woman, or probably they fear that their husbands won’t be that supportive anymore and will find another one.

New studies show that mastectomy operation can be immediately followed up by breast reconstruction. Years ago, doctors didn’t practice this (and this was a pretty controversial topic in the medical world) because they fear that having another operation afterwards may lead to certain types of complications. However, they have found out that having these two simultaneous procedures done is perfectly safe.

Saline vs. silicone: what’s better?

April 8th, 2008 by editor

If you were to have breast augmentation, you will probably be asked if whether you want silicone or saline. Both types have pros and cons. If you want to have that natural feel like that of a real breast, then go for silicone. Silicones are engineered exactly the way breasts are.

But before you go to your local plastic surgeon, you have to know the other side of the coin. Although silicones are much better than saline in terms of the feel and the look, saline implants are far less dangerous than the other. If silicone implants break inside the breast, it’ll take time before one notices it. This can lead to various types of infections and complications. On the other hand, if saline implants break, you will notice them right away since your breast will lose its usual shape because it deflates faster.
