Tummy Tuck

February 28th, 2008 by Nikko

Abdominoplasty, as it is medically called is a procedure that removes excess fat and skin, and irestores weakened or separated muscles creating an abdominal profile that is smoother and firmer. Abdomen that protrudes or is loose and sagging can develop even to individuals of otherwise normal body weight and proportion. Common causes of this include sagging abdomen are pregnancy, aging, significant fluctuations in weight, heredity, and prior surgery. The results of a tummy tuck are technically permanent and the positive outcome can be greatly diminished by significant fluctuations in your weight but a tummy tuck is not a substitute for weight loss or an appropriate exercise program.
