Cases of organ puncture have resulted in death with vital organs getting punctured by too excessive a poking around. Nerves and muscles also get damaged due to poking in the wrong places. Such procedures are normally followed by tummy tucks which are also used for people who have undergone extreme weight loss operations such as gut reduction which shortens the intestines. It leaves excessive skin tissue sagging like dried meat hung up to dry.
The reduction is normally done to have the incisions in line to follow the natural contours of the body but done wrongly can have ugly scars everywhere. The procedure can have fat that was dislodged but not taken out of the body infiltrating the blood vessels and clotting the organs. Being subcutaneous fat, it cannot be effectively dissolved byt he body thus can lead to massive heart problems. All these procedures must be done by licensed and well-trained specialists and though cosmetic, the operating theater should be as sterile as emergency rooms in hospitals to minimize the possibility of infections that can lead to death. Damaged nerves can lead to very disfiguring injuries that can leave you more disfigured that you started with.
